- Unser Ergebnis entpuppte sich als etwas kurz an der momentan unteren Grenze, deshalb glaubt Nick, daß das Projekt die Richtung ändern muß. Er schaut sich ein paar Dinge an und wird später bekanntgeben, für was er sich entschieden hat.

I'm going to be gone for a week (until the 10th) so if anything goes wrong with the server it won't be fixed until then. I've started investigating new algorithms and approaches and I think I've decided on one but it's going to take me awhile longer to implement it so please hold tight! |
- Nick ist für ca. eine Woche weg, wenn mit dem Server was schief läuft, wird's nicht vor dem 10. repariert werden können. Außerdem hat er sich neue Algorithmen angeschaut, die aber wohl noch eine Weile dauern werden, bis sie implementiert wurden.

I'm back from my trip so hopefully I'll be able to sit down and pound through a few of these papers this week. As soon as I understand them well enough, I'll be implementing us a new app. On a side note, I may have a few collaborators helping me with a CUDA app so stay tuned for news on that. Thanks Guys! |
- Nick ist wieder zurück und wird sich so schnell wie möglich an die Arbeit machen, um Neues in die Anwendung zu implementieren. Desweiteren hat er einige Helferlein, die ihm bei der Entwicklung einer CUDA-Anwendung beistehen. Man darf gespannt sein.

Sorry this is taking so long everyone. I've finally started working again, I'm finally starting to get real job interviews, and the new direction of this project is rather demanding in terms of mathematics I'm unfamiliar with. - Es tut Nick leid, daß alles so lange dauert. Er hat wieder Arbeit gefunden und die Richtung des Projekts läuft in anspruchsvolle Mathematik-Bereiche, mit denen er sich nicht auskennt. Das sind die Hauptgründe dafür, daß die nächste Iteration auf sich warten läßt.

I'm still here guys! Ben Ferenchak, a student at Widener University, PA, and some of his fellow classmates are collaborating with me on the new direction of this project. I'm very excited to have their assistance in working out some of the mathematics and CUDA development we hope to do. As of now we are still brushing up on our group theory, developing small test applications, and corresponding with Dr. Exoo who has been a great source of information and promising leads. We're still fairly far away from an alpha test but please stay tuned! Thanks everyone! |
- Mit Ben Ferenchak, einem Studenten von der Widener University PA und einigen seiner Kommilitonen arbeitet Nick weiter an der neuen Richtung des Projekts. Sie helfen ihm an der Entwicklung der Mathematik sowie dem CUDA-Projekt. Momentan werden Gruppen-Theorien gebildet, kleine Test-Anwendungen entwickelt und mit Dr. Exoo korrespondiert, der dabei als weitere Informationsquelle dient. Es fehlt zwar noch einiges bis zum ersten Alpha-Test, aber bleibt am Ball!

Hey Everyone . I'm truly sorry about the unannounced hiatus - I had to move back in with my parents and their ISP didn't allow hosting. I'm still interested in Ramsey@Home and I'm trying my best to get back into the swing of things despite my tight schedule. I'll hopefully have some more news about my plans in a week or two so please stay tuned. Thanks! |
- Nick ist wieder bei seinen Eltern, dessen ISP aber kein Hosting erlaubt. Er versucht trotz engen Zeitplans wieder an Ramsey zu arbeiten und wird hoffentlich in ein oder zwei Wochen mehr über die Pläne berichten können.
