So, ich denke, es wird mal Zeit, einen Thread aufzumachen.

Ist wieder ein Render-Projekt wie BURP und Renderfarm.fi.
Drum äußere ich auch gleich mal den Wunsch, Guru machen zu dürfen.

Ein neuer Server und Software wurden installiert. Da die Datenbank vom 20.10.2010 ist, könnte das die Probleme mit den letzten WUs verursacht haben.
Das erklärt den Verlust einiger Threads der letzten Tage.
Desweiteren wurden dadurch wohl auch einige Konten, die nach dem 20.10. erstellt wurden, gelöscht. Der Admin entschuldigt sich dafür in einem der Forum-Threads.

Und hier gibt's noch Hinweise wie man die Render-Geschwindigkeit selbst verbessern kann:

Push your render time +50%
Stop Boinc
Finde the folder Boinc storage.
Go to folder "slots" 0,1 and so on
Go to folder "p"
Edit the file default.lxs with Editor
Find the line
"integer writeinterval" [10]
and set the value to 300
"integer writeinterval" [300]
save and restart BOINC
make this for all WU with p0000000025
render time up 50% |

Cancel it self or tomorrow i do this from server. |
- WUs mit p0000000025 sollten abgebrochen werden, da sie zu lange dauern.
Das kann jeder User selbst machen, andernfalls wird es morgen serverseitig passieren.

I am not died.
I work hard on the the new Webside and the upload page. In the future user can upload the blend file and the system check and send the job. I have many changes on the server do, this makes it necessary that all users register newly. Sorry vor this circumstances. I switch to the new server at 01.03.2011 and hopefully will include the first act of Sintel. The Windows client from Boinc have now multi task support. The support for MacOS, and Linux end at this time. Why? The Luxrender must have glibc in the newest version and this is the problem from many older version of linux. I don't have found a Mac user to build the client on a Mac computer. I search for this more. |
- Der Admin arbeitet derzeit fieberhaft an der neuen Webseite. Wenn am 1.3.2011 auf einen neuen Server gewechselt wird, ist es wohl unumgänglich, daß sich alle User neu anmelden.
Der Windows-Client hat jetzt Multitask-Support. Unterstützung für MacOS und Linux fällt dann leider weg, da die neuste glibc-Version dafür notwendig ist.
Ein Mac-User, der das für den Mac baut, wurde noch nicht gefunden.
